The Unity of Space and Time is the Unity of Subject and Object

In the previous chapter, we defined:

  • “space” as the gap between the perceiver and existence.
  • “distance” as the gap between two perceived identities, as objects, places, events, etc.

Here, we define:

  • “time” as the gap between one experience and the experience of existence in general
  • “timespan” as the gap between specific experiences or events

Unlike the other layers, the spatial layer is about the gap between:

  • experiences, as the subject
  • the objects in those experiences, as the object

In the Physical Domain, space is dominant because objects are dominant. For example, an objects exists in 3 Dimensions of space as length, width, height, and 1 Dimension of Time.

But in the Metaphysical Doman, time is dominant because subjects, as experiences, are dominant. For example, you can dream about different scenes without changing spaces. It would seem that a lot of time has elapsed per scene during the whole dream without any effort to spatially travel between scenes.

This is why we say time gets more malleable the higher the layer, while space becomes less important.

Physical Time and Metaphysical Time

Previously, we created the concept of Physical Space and Metaphysical Space. Here we likewise create the concept of Physical Time and Metaphysical Time. In Physics, this is similar to the concept of Proper and Coordinate Time from Einstein’s Relativity.

Physical Time is objective, but Metaphysical Time is subjective.

Physical Time in Superphysics also includes Newtonian Time and the Radioactive Decay-time of certain elements.

These ’times’ follow the hierarchy of the 5 Layers. This means that:

  • Metaphysical time is superior and the most important of all the times as it dictates our common actions
  • Radiant or Electromagnetic time and Radioactive Time is important for precision measurements.
  • Material time is the most common time, as the one seen in clocks.
Domain Spacetime Sublayer Name Measure Physics Name
Metaphysical Aethereal Mental Time Experience Coordinate Time (Einstein)
Physical Radiant Electromagnetic Time Atomic Clock Proper Time (Einstein)
Physical Convertible Radioactive Time Radioactive Decay Clock
Physical Material Material Time Sand Clock Absolute Time (Newton)

Fixing Einstein’s Spacetime

Current Physics has is stuck because Einstein used light as a measuring rod for all of spacetime. The problem is that light is part of the Radiant Layer which is naturally inferior to the Spactial layer which spacetime is a part of.

So Einstein used the inferior to judge the superior. The effect of this is that the real nature of the spacetime is not revealed. This prevents and development of spacetime technologies such as:

  • anti-gravity
  • teleportation
  • time travel
  • speeding up or freezing of photons via the aether
