Below the mental layers and above the material (dead) layers are the 5 (living) Biophysical layers which are quasi-physical or in-between the metaphysical and physical.

Instead of using the ancient Greek names of Aether, Air, Fire, Water, Earth, we use a hybrid naming system:

Akasha

The 10th layer in Superphysics is the 5th layer in Bio Superphysics – akasha

It comes from Sanskrit word meaning “ether” or “subtle space”.

Chi or the Air Element

The 9th layer in Superphysics is the 4th layer in Bio Superphysics – chi or vayu, called Air Element in ancient Greece.

In Descartes Physics, this is the subtle 2nd Element that causes our emotions.

Prana or the Fire Element

The 8th layer in Superphysics is the 3rd layer in Bio Superphysics – prana or the Fire Element in Ancient Greece.

Prana is Sanskrit for “life force” or “breath”.

The Water Element

The 7th layer in Superphysics is the 2nd layer in Bio Superphysics – water or liquids.

This is the organic equivalent of the Conversion layer in Material Superphysics which creates chemical changes and is the basis of Chemistry.

The Earth Element

The 6th layer in Superphysics is the 1st layer in Bio Superphysics – earth or the solid factor.

Prithvi—the Sanskrit name for the Earth element—stands for stability, structure, nourishment, and groundedness.
