Time is an Illusion
The past and the future, in essence, are illusions. Everything really exists—coexists simultaneously—right here, right now. In a sense, as you say in your language, all at the same time. There is only now. There is only one moment in existence, and everything that happens happens in that one moment. But by creating for yourself the illusion of a linear space-time experience, it seems as if time and moments are laid out before, middle, after, and so on and so forth. But this is, as we say, an illusion.
The idea being that there is only now. Anytime you wonder what time it is, you know it is only and always now. It is never then, it is never will be—it is always only now. This is not just a play on words. There really is no past, there really is no future, per se, in the way that you tend to think of it in your society.
What you call past experience, what you call future experience, are simultaneously coexisting experiences on a different frequency domain. They all exist right now alongside you on what you would call parallel tracks—all existing now. In much the same way as we have said before: all the programs on one of your televisions all exist at any given moment. You could watch any channel at any given moment and see any program at any given moment, but you only get the one that you’re tuned to in the frequency of at that moment.
If you wish to see another program, all you have to do is change your channel, and you can see another program—another frequency. It exists at the same time as the one you were watching before. When you are no longer watching that channel, it doesn’t mean that the program is not there anymore—it is still there, but you no longer perceive it because you have shifted your frequency.
You Are Shifting Billions of Times Per Second
This is how you actually experience change in your reality. The whole concept of change itself is actually the act of shifting to multiple simultaneously coexisting parallel realities, again and again, literally billions of times per second. Because any one given parallel reality is just a frozen snapshot—just a frozen moment, just a concept. The idea even of your arm moving from here to here involves the shifting from this parallel reality to this parallel reality through all of the subsequent parallel realities in between, billions of times a second.
The idea therefore is for you to understand that when you are shifting—when you experience yourself to be moving in any way, changing in any way, shifting in any way, shape, or form—this actually involves you being powerful enough to automatically shift your vibration through any number of a billion billion billion billion parallel realities. And you’re doing this so automatically you don’t even know you’re doing it. That’s how innate of a creator you are—that’s how easy it is for you to shift.
The Key: Awareness, Not Learning
The reason we point this out is because we have conversations with many of you talking about the idea of wanting to change your experience of reality, of wanting to make a shift, of wanting to shift your frequency. And many of you, because of the way you have been brought up to think in your society, think that learning how to shift is very difficult—that it’s a very difficult process requiring years and years of training. But you already do it—it’s automatic. It is something you do so naturally you don’t even know you’re doing it.
So the issue is not that you have to learn to shift—the issue is that you have to become aware of the fact that you’re already shifting, so that you can shift to the parallel reality you prefer. That’s the key—that’s the big difference. And that is why we talk about the idea now of the simultaneity of existence—to help you make it that much easier to know that whatever reality you wish to experience, it is not an issue of having to learn the mechanism of how to create that reality. That is built in. You are an automatic creator. You don’t have to learn anything at all to create a shift in your reality, because you’re doing it billions of times a second anyway.
The only reason you really don’t know you’re doing it is because when you choose to shift to another reality to create your illusion of the continuity of movement, you shift to realities that are so similar to the last reality you don’t really know that you’ve actually shifted to an entirely different universe—an entirely different reality. So the key is that when you create a greater degree of difference between one reality and another in terms of where you shift to, then you will start to notice that you are shifting immediately, automatically, and instantaneously every single moment.
The idea thus then is to learn how to describe, learn how to define the reality you prefer, and learn how to be in the state of the frequency of that reality of your preference, so that you can know that more and more as you’re going along, shifting and shifting automatically and effortlessly, you can thus begin to imbue your frequency as you shift with more and more of the frequency representative of the reality that you prefer to shift to. So you can make bigger and bigger leaps and have less and less continuity, less and less similarity between the next reality and the one that you experienced a moment ago. Thus then revealing to yourself by the greater difference between them that you are automatically and immediately shifting all the time, but you have glossed it over with an illusion that you’re not, by saying that all you’re doing every moment is just making a tiny little change in the same reality—which, in fact, you are not.
The idea also to absorb in the simultaneity of existence is that not only of your own past in your own life and your own future in your own life, but everything you call past lives and everything you call future lives—incarnations—are also coexistent with you right now. The idea being that whoever those people are, they are connected to you as you exist now. You, the you you are now, literally was never those people. Those people literally never become you. As people, you may have the same oversoul connection, but the idea is that every single discrete incarnation is its own person and exists side by side with you in your incarnation on a parallel time track right now.
The idea of connecting to past lives, of connecting to future lives, is really only the idea of cross-connecting to another coexisting incarnation that exists right now at the same time you do, and making that connection for your own purposes, for your own reasons. For some reason, you make connections in any given life to other experiences that other aspects of your soul are having at the same time—that you call other lives in other time frames—so that you can draw upon the experiences that those lives are having.
But the experiences in those lives did not cause the experience you are having in this life. The experience you are having in this life will not cause an experience in what you call a future life. The cross-connections all exist in the present, and you make those connections because you believe that in order for you to experience this life, you need to draw upon some of the experiences of those other lives to give you the inspirations, the ideas, the insights, and the perspectives that will aid and assist you.
Even as, at the same time, all the other lives are cross-connecting to you and drawing from your experience to give them the insights and inspirations and perspectives that they may need to draw upon for the experience and theme they have decided will be explored in those lives as well. So you have created a cross-connecting web—an interlaced web of lives. All those connections, all those strings, all those lines cross. All those points where they cross are different lives all coexisting at the same time and all connected to the same oversoul at the center that you are connected to—the greater self.
Infinite Parallel Versions
Not only do you have your own life now and all of your so-called past lives, concurrent parallel lives, and future lives—not only do they all exist at the same time—but each and every one of those lives also have multiple versions and variations in an infinite number of parallel realities up and down the timeline. So not only do you have what you would consider to be a linear past life, a linear future life in your linear time frame sense, but you yourself in this life also have a parallel version in another reality—another parallel Earth—doing something perhaps similar but just a little bit different, and then another doing something perhaps similar but a little more different, and another doing something perhaps not so similar anymore and even more different, and another and another and another until you have variations of yourself doing things that you are not doing here at all, and that goes on infinitely as well.
So you are infinitely spread across the web—the matrix of what you call your own plane of time—past, present, and future. But all the pasts and the presents and the future lives that all coexist simultaneously also each have an infinite number of parallel lives up and down, experiencing variations of whatever those lives are.
What we are doing by explaining this to you is attempting to get you to fully absorb and wrap your mental abilities around exactly how multi-dimensional you actually are as a being. You are really that big. You are really that multi-dimensional. And the idea is that we are happy to reflect that to you like a mirror, so that in perhaps your ability to wrap your mind around this concept and make it your own, you will thus then be capable of seeing in that reflection the true nature of your beingness, the true nature of your creatorhood, the true nature of your existence. And in seeing that, have more facility, more facilitation, more ability, more ecstatic excitement in creating the reality you prefer yourself to experience.
If you want to, of course—you don’t have to. We are not here to tell you what to do or to force you to do anything or tell you you must choose this or must choose that. We are simply telling you what is probable based on the nature of your actual existence—your very nature. But you can also decide, because you have that nature, to not know that. You can decide to choose the idea of more limitation rather than less. You can decide to choose the idea of experiencing darkness rather than light. It’s completely up to you because all choices are valid, and we would never take that away from you.
What we are simply saying is we’re giving you an opportunity to understand what more of the choices are, so that you can have a level playing field—that you can in a sense validate all the choices. And by validating all the choices—both negative and positive, dark and light—you can then give yourself more capability to choose what you prefer without invalidating what you don’t. Because please remember: whatever it is you don’t prefer more clearly delineates what you do prefer. Thus then, the darkness defines the light even as the light defines the darkness. Without either, you would be nothing but a gray fog and never know who you were.
Allow yourself to take advantage of the fact that even though sometimes you may choose things that you don’t prefer, it more clearly and sharply defines from that point forward what you do prefer. So thank the darkness, thank the negativity for showing you who you are in a positive way, and thus you will be using that energy in a positive and constructive way, and it will thus then expand you rather than contract and limit you.
As you thus then see more and more of this reflection, as you wrap your mind more around this idea of your simultaneity—that you are this web of consciousnesses simultaneously existing, simultaneously having a multitude of infinite experiences all up and down all sorts of dimensional timelines all at once, and at the same time are also in each life focused as a unique experience and a unique individual precious for its uniqueness—as you wrap your mind around that and really take it to heart and really make it your own and really let it sink into your fibers and your cells and your atomic structure so it becomes first nature to you to think this way about yourself and your reality, once you begin to do that, what you will begin to see is your physical linear space-time reality will begin to come a little bit unglued.
Signs of Shifting
You may experience more malleability in space-time, more flexibility—the capability to do things that heretofore you didn’t think you had time to do, but you got it done anyway. The ability to arrive at places you didn’t have time to get, but you arrive there anyway. Things like that will become commonplace. And synchronicity will expand and multiply and amplify in your life—tenfold, a hundredfold, a thousandfold—the more you allow yourself to really see the simultaneity of your existence.
Your life will expand accordingly, and your life will reflect those things to you accordingly that you need to know and need to experience, and bring to you the doorways, windows, opportunities, circumstances, situations, people, places, and things at the right place and the right time that you need to have in your life, so that you may continue to experience yourself in an ever-expanding, ever-ecstatic way.
This is how it works. This is just physics—that’s all we’re talking about. Metaphysics is just physics without the math. That’s all it is. It’s just wrapping your mind around the idea that what you are is vibrating consciousness, vibrating energy. You are resonance, you are a frequency, you are a pitch of energy—that is your unique signature vibration. And whatever it is at any given moment you define that to be will be the experience that you allow yourself to have, as well as a reflection back to you.
Physical reality doesn’t exist outside of you—it exists inside of you. It is just an illusion. It is just a reflection. In the same way as we often use by analogy as a physical glass mirror: when you see your reflection in the mirror, you know that’s not really you over there in the mirror—you know you’re here. You know that’s a reflection. If you see the reflection frowning, you don’t walk over to the mirror and try to force the reflection to smile. When you want to see the reflection smile, you know what you have to do—you have to smile first. But if you wait for the reflection to smile first, you’ll be frowning for the rest of your life.
But that’s what many people on your planet do: “I’ll be happy when I see my reality change.” That’s what you’re saying—“I’ll be happy when my reflection is happy.” But the reflection can never be happy until you are. So when you’re happy first, the reflection has no choice but to reflect it to you.
YOU have created a space-time reality, so sometimes there’s a little bit of a time lag between the idea of the change you make within you and the ability of the outer reality to reflect it to you. And sometimes, because of specifically the belief systems that you have bought into throughout your lives, you will often even test yourself to see whether or not you really believe you have changed.
That’s why we always stress the idea that when you say “when you know you have changed,” you do not make the change conditional on whether the outer reality changes or not. The idea of knowing you have truly changed is if you respond differently to the outer reality even if it doesn’t change—that’s how you know you’ve changed. Whereas if you say “yes I’ve changed, but I’m not seeing it in my outer reality,” then all you’re still doing is looking for it in the outer reality first, and all that means is you haven’t changed. So why should the outer reality reflect the change to you?
When you get a grip on the simultaneity, on the vastness, on the true power and multi-dimensionality of your existence, then you can allow yourself to relax the idea of any kind of insistence, any kind of condition that is negatively oriented that you may put on yourselves, and simply choose to be who you prefer to be for no other reason. You do not need a reason to be happy. If you want to be happy, be happy. You do not need an exterior conditional reason to be happy. This is why we say circumstances don’t matter—only your state of being does.
Because the idea is that it is your state of being that determines what kind of an effect you get out of the circumstances, because the circumstances have no built-in meaning. They do not come with any particular agenda. A circumstance is neutral—it’s just a set of props that mean nothing. The meaning you give to it determines the effect you get from it. So the meaning you put into it will determine whether or not you experience your life in an expanded or a limited way.
Once you understand that you are an expanded being and begin to behave like you are, even while you are focused as an individual, you will see the difference reflected in your reality just by knowing that’s who you are, just by knowing that’s what you are. It will ultimately start being reflected to you in your reflected reality, because that reality doesn’t really exist out there—it’s all here, right here, right now, with everything that exists in creation.
What you call different moments are just the same moment from a different point of view. That’s all it is. There is only one moment in creation—now. Everything exists now, and what you call different moments are exactly the same moment from a different point of view. And that’s how vast you are, that’s how powerful you are—that billions of times a second you are literally creating billions of different points of view of the same now creation moment, and that is what you experience as reality.
You are that powerful. Live as if you know that in a humble way, and you will see vast miracles become the order of the day.
Questions
Releasing Resistance & Unconditional Love
Asker: I have a lot of physical pressure in my head.
Bashar: Are you living your highest excitement every moment that you possibly can? Any hesitation means no.
Asker: No.
Bashar: What beliefs, what definitions, what ideas have been holding you back from being who you prefer to be? Because remember, many times what you call physical pressure, mental pressure, spiritual pressure is just the result of resisting your natural self. So why are you resisting being your natural self? What is your greatest fear about being your true self?
Asker: Letting go.
Bashar: Letting go of what?
Asker: Everything that I’ve known before.
Bashar: And why is that such a bad thing?
Asker: It isn’t—I’m realizing now. Because it kept me in a particular place and frequency.
Bashar: And what has occurred in your life that is now making you willing to let go?
Asker: I’m letting go because I really want to.
Bashar: All right. Do you need another reason?
Asker: It feels better.
Bashar: Oh, all right. Any other reasons that you need?
Asker: I love myself.
Bashar: Unconditionally?
Asker: Getting there.
Bashar: Getting there. All right. Again, that means no. And so, what parts shall we say are you leaving behind at the moment that you are not loving unconditionally? What aspects of yourself are you not in love with? Now before you answer, please understand just because you may not prefer something doesn’t mean you can’t love it unconditionally for what it has taught you about being who you do prefer to be.
Bashar: So even though you may name parts that you don’t prefer, it doesn’t mean you can’t love them.
Bashar: Do you feel a release of pressure?
Asker: Yes.
Bashar: All right. Now, in what way would you prefer to express the idea of your highest joy, your highest excitement in life? Is there a specific way or a variety of ways?
Asker: Yes.
Bashar: And they are what?
Asker: Dancing, writing, singing—dancing, writing, and singing. Being in the river and being in the ocean and loving life, loving myself.
Bashar: All right. And you will begin to do all these things as of now?
Asker: Yes.
Bashar: As fully as you possibly can?
Asker: Yes.
Bashar: Remember, excitement is your body’s translation of the vibration of your natural self. So the more you act in alignment and in harmony with the things that truly excite you, with integrity, without expectation, then you are most harmoniously aligned with the self you are actually created to be—it’s your true core vibration.
So the idea really of acting on your joy is simply another way of being true to your true self.
Dream States & Parallel Realities
Asker: I want to ask about the dream state and what’s going on within the mind and within the soul.
Bashar: There can be a multitude of things. It can simply be your brain processing events of the day, but it can also be the idea of you creating and laying out the blueprint of your actual physical reality experience in what we call the template level reality—which is just at the highest edge of your physical reality and just at the lowest edge of non-physical reality, where all of your lives, the themes you choose to explore in life, are in a sense laid out like blueprints for you to decide what you wish to experience, how you wish to alter them.
So sometimes when you are dreaming, you’re playing around with that blueprint, deciding what it is you will experience the next day. Sometimes a dream is actually a recollection or a memory of an experience that your soul, your spirit, may be having out of body in another dimension, in another realm. But the idea may be disguised by symbols and interpretations that your brain can understand once you wake up. So sometimes the dream itself that may seem to make not a lot of sense may simply be the brain’s best ability to interpret something that happened in another dimension that it doesn’t have words for.
Do you understand? It can be a number of different things. Is there any specific reason why you asked this question?
Asker: Yes, because someone else asked me to ask that question.
Bashar: All right. So does that mean you will know how to take it further?
Asker: Are you all good?
Asker: Okay.
Asker: I have a question. Does that help you?
Asker: Yes.
Bashar: Does it help your friend?
Asker: Yes, she seems all good.
Bashar: Oh, all right. Okay, okay. I have my own question though.
Asker: I was hiking a couple of weeks ago and fell and hit my head.
Bashar: Oh, how exciting!
Asker: It really was. I was having a specific thought at the time, and I’m wondering if you could expand on that a little bit.
Bashar: What is your specific thought?
Asker: Don’t look where you don’t want to go.
Bashar: Exactly! Exactly. Thank you. Okay, well there you go.
Simultaneous Coexistence
Asker: Could I could speak to Ana
Bashar: Not today. Ana is involved in a contact scenario with another civilization. While normally we can split our consciousness in a variety of ways to have a multitude of conversations simultaneously, in this particular culture, that would be seen as an offense.
Therefore, she is fully focused with all aspects of her consciousness in allowing that culture to become part of our interstellar alliance.
Asker: Well, my love to her. I was hoping to get to chat with her, but that’s all right. I will chat with you further about the dream state. Sometimes when I am dreaming, it feels as if I am actually in the dream but there’s a veil over my eyes—I can see but I just can’t quite see clearly. Other times I feel like I’m just watching, and other times I don’t know what’s going on.
The question is—because everything you have described simply is something that can happen in that state. In terms of being in different positions, different points of view, having different kinds of experiences, and your relationship to those experiences will create different points of view of how you wish to experience what’s going on. So sometimes you will be, as you say, just a fly on the wall.
Sometimes you will need to see it through what might be called a screen memory so that you can have the kind of interpretation that will make sense to you in your reality. And sometimes you will simply be an observer for a variety of other reasons that may even have to do with other people you may be interacting with in the dream scenario that you don’t know you’re interacting with when you wake up.
Asker: Okay. And I understand all of that. And another thing is—could it, or is it sometimes that I am waking up in another parallel me?
Bashar: Yes. Okay. Because that’s another symptomology of understanding the idea of simultaneous coexistence—is that sometimes you will actually start to see through the experiential eyes of another version of you. The barriers will start to dissolve, and you will gain more direct experience of someone else’s—another aspect’s—experience of life.
Now this may be temporary, very quick. Sometimes it can be prolonged. Sometimes it creates the sensation you call déjà vu—“I know what’s going to happen because I’ve already seen it happen.” You are standing in the center of the forward and reverse arrows of time, right at the center of parallel reality experiences between different lives, looking in two different directions at once, seeing what is to come and knowing what is to come because you’ve already seen it—because past and future are all here in the present. So yes, more of that will happen as you expand your understanding of your coexistent simultaneity.
Bashar: It is about becoming, as you say, lucid in the dream you’re having of physical reality, because physical reality is a dream. So when you talk about the idea of wanting to learn to lucid dream—becoming aware that you’re dreaming when you’re dreaming—the idea is that can also help you to become lucid in the dream of physical reality, because you’re dreaming right now. The idea of becoming more aware of your simultaneous coexistence helps you become more lucid in the physical reality dream, so you can wake up and realize that you’ve been dreaming.
Asker: Or visiting—because that’s what I call it. I call it that I’m visiting other selves because it’s a whole other world. I understand the layout of the city, I understand everything, but I’m looking through their eyes, not necessarily mine.
Bashar: You may call it whatever you wish, but you are experiencing parallel realities more directly. That’s one of the symptoms of understanding simultaneity.
Hybrid Children & Past Lives
Asker: Good day to you, and a good day to you. I wanted to know how many children I have in my other lives and which other lives.
Bashar: All of them. Sure, let’s go for the best. Now, again, please remember that when you say “my other lives,” are you talking about the idea of the hybrids? Are you talking about the idea of parallel lives? Are you talking about the idea of past or future lives that are concurrent? What are you talking about?
Asker: Okay, let’s go hybrid.
Bashar: Let’s go hybrid. All right, seems to be a theme on your planet lately. You have between 15 and 17 that share some degree of genetic material with you sufficient to call them your children. Though there are more that share some of your genetic material, but not enough in a sense that you would feel vibrationally that they are as strongly connected to you as the 15 to 17.
The reason we are also giving you that window is because there is a degree of probability in the idea of some of these children being hybrid—shifting in and out of dimensional realities that you are no longer connected to. Thus, we give you the whole scenario.
Asker: how many past lives have I had? How many other simultaneously concurrent lives that you call the past are you presently connected to?
Bashar: You only have this life. No one has ever had a past life. Do you understand? Reincarnation is not reincarnation—it is multiple simultaneous incarnations. You are you, and you’ve always been this you. Other lives are those people, and they have always been those people. But you cross-connect through the oversoul.
So a more precise way to say this would be: how many oversoul extensions that are sharing a similar vibration in cross-connection right now am I dealing with?
The ones that are most important to the life you’re living now is about 27. What does it mean to you to have the idea more concretely presented about your cross-connections to other lives? What does that do for you? What does it allow you to feel you can do by knowing something like that?
Asker: Well, I guess because it explains sometimes when I have different feelings on different things.
Bashar: So it serves you in understanding that sometimes the feelings and inspirations and ideas that may pop into your head may be the result of some of the connections you have made to these other lives, so that you know that you are functioning as a greater being.
Belief Systems & The Feeling of Undeserving
Asker: I’m happy and peaceful, content 90% of the time not 100% of the time. is 100% possible?
Bashar: Not necessarily if you are going through a transformation where it’s important for you to feel sadness, feel anger, feel fear in order to deal with the belief systems that are connected to those feelings and then integrate them within yourself. During the actual process, it may be important for you to feel those things in order to get a handle on why you had the feelings to begin with. So yes, ultimately you could decide simply to be happy. But if you have chosen to explore certain themes where it’s important for you to feel other things in order for you to get a handle on what belief systems generate those feelings, then it may be important to feel those things temporarily until you understand what that mechanism is all about and why it was there to begin with, so that you can work with that energy and it can expand your knowledge of how those things function.
Asker: I’m glad you brought up the belief system, because that’s really the heart of my question.
Bashar: Well, it’s the heart of everything you experience in physical reality. What you believe and define to be true is what you experience. And all feelings and all thoughts and all behaviors come from what you believe or define to be true first. And you cannot have a thought, you cannot have a behavior, and you cannot have a feeling without actually first believing something to be true.
Asker: Yes. So two weeks ago in San Francisco, you were suggesting for us to find the reason for beliefs that takes us into that space—like what you were just saying to explore it.
Bashar: It sounds like something we would suggest.
Asker: Yes. So I have been doing that all my life. I’m just sort of tired of it. You know what I find is my core—the core always goes back to feeling of undeserving.
Bashar: Feeling guilty? Guilty about what? Ashamed? That’s the whole thing. It’s like I’ve worked through so many different things, so many emotional releases.
Asker: Let me ask the ultimate question. Remember, none of you—not even you, because there are no exceptions—none of you hold on to anything you don’t believe serves you. So how do you believe it serves you to hold on to something you say you don’t prefer?
Asker: See, that’s what I haven’t been able to get to.
Bashar: That’s what you need to discover. That’s the belief you need to discover. And it usually comes with the idea of a fear attached to the thing you say you prefer that is greater than holding on to something you say you don’t prefer, but you are comfortable.
If you were to truly let that go, what’s the worst thing you fear might happen?
Asker: I’ve asked that thousands of times and come up with thousands of answers, but obviously not the one that satisfies you.
Bashar: But that’s why we ask the greater question: how is it serving you to hold on to something that you say you don’t prefer? What do you get out of it?
Asker: Well, the obvious thing is that I get to stay small. And the ridiculous thing—why would I want to stay small? I don’t want to remain small.
Bashar: Are you sure? Well, why would I want to remain small? So what’s the belief—define small now.
Asker: Not fully being—not fully going for what I really want in life.
Bashar: And what do you really want that you’re not going for? Have you defined that?
Asker: Yes, no, maybe.
Bashar: Yes. Are you willing to share what that may be, or at least one version of it?
Asker: Maybe. Okay, let’s just go for one version. Let’s just say in business.
Bashar: Business—this is exciting to you?
Asker: I love business.
Bashar: You’re passionate about this?
Asker: Yes, totally love it. It’s totally my life’s purpose. I’m living my dharma. I’m so blessed.
Bashar: Are you now? Then what’s the problem? Where do you think you’re being held back if you’re so totally blessed and living your passion?
Asker: It’s fun, I love it, but I sort of hold back on my own success.
Bashar: I define success. Before you say anything, remember our particular aphorism about that. We know what the one on Earth is, but we have, as usual, a slightly different take: “If at first you don’t succeed, redefine success.”
Please remember this: whatever it is, no matter whether or not you are going to do something in a grander way, a more amplified way, a more magnified way—regardless of whether you’re going to change and grow, because you will—but regardless of any of that, whatever you’re doing at any given moment, you are at that moment a total success at it. Whatever it is at that moment, at that level, you are a total success at it at that level.
You’re already a success at that level. Again, it doesn’t mean you won’t do something different, something more expansive, and be a success at that. But the first step is to understand that the only way to expand success is to know you’re already a success at whatever you’re doing in the way you’re doing it right now.
Whatever you are right now is a perfect version of what you are right now. Whatever it is, it’s a perfect version of that concept in totality.
You are unique—no one else is like you. That’s correct. So whatever you are, whatever unique thing you are in all levels, is a perfect version of that thing.
If someone were to go about creating or wanting to create you as you are right now, by having created you as you are right now, they would have totally succeeded. Wouldn’t they?
Bashar: If I wanted to create you exactly as you are right now and I wound up creating you, then I would have succeeded. Wouldn’t I? Yes. So what I’m getting is that it’s like I’m perfect as I am right now.
Asker: Yes.
Bashar: And thus a total success as the version you are right now. You may not in a sense be the same later, but you have no business comparing yourself to what you will eventually be. That’s where you get into trouble.
Asker: Expound on that.
Bashar: You find the self you are now lacking by comparison to what you prefer to ultimately be. You are erasing your own stepping stones. You are not validating yourself as the stepping stone to becoming the next version of you. “I’m not good enough, I want to be here but I’m not good enough, I want to be here but I’m not good enough”—so if you’re not good enough, how can you get there? Because only by being good enough as you are will you be the stepping stone that actually leads you to there. By invalidating yourself, you remove the stepping stone and have nowhere to step to get there.
Stop comparing yourself to where you think you’re supposed to be, and start validating yourself where you are, and not worrying about where you’re going because there is nowhere to go but here. Remember, every change simply becomes another version of now.
So the idea is to just be the fullest you you can be so that you use up all the you you are now in order for the next version of you to then come in. Because unless you use up the full version of you now, there’s no reason for the next you to come in—there’s no reason for the change, because you’re not fully being who you are now, not fully validating, not fully loving what you are now in totality as perfect and successful.
Stop comparing yourself to where you think you ought to be. Make sense?
Asker: Yes. I’m very excited because I’m getting what you’re pointing out for me. It’s like just give myself space and give myself a break for where I am now, and that everything that I’ve done is just perfect and fabulous because it is—it really is. I do get that right.
Bashar: And it has no business being compared in terms of a value judgment to anything else you will create. Of course, we understand you have to take a measurement to know that you have changed and compare the idea of where you were to where you’re going—all that we understand. But that’s a neutral state, that’s just a neutral observation. What you’re doing is placing value judgments on it, and that’s where you hold yourself back.
Asker: So it’s like my stuff about “okay I’m not deserving”—that’s like, okay, that’s perfect. The fact that I sometimes think “oh I’m not deserving”—I still have those remnants or whatever—“I don’t deserve” is a perfect experience of feeling undeserving. It’s like I am great at feeling undeserving at that moment, and I am great at feeling guilty at that moment.
Bashar: And the paradox is, as soon as you simply honestly own the feeling, it’s gone. The only reason the feeling perpetuates is because you don’t own it—because you don’t want it to be there, as if it was some kind of interruption and didn’t belong. But when it’s perfect—“I am feeling undeserving fully as I can”—owning it suddenly allows you to realize you don’t feel that way anymore. Make sense?
Asker: So I should have a guilt-shame party?
Bashar: All right. So dinner tonight—can we have a guilt, shame, and undeserving party? You can do whatever you wish. And remember, while you are feeling undeserving and while you are feeling guilty and while you are feeling shameful, please remember you are allowed—you are allowed to feel those things because you’re deserving and worthy and beautiful, because you are unconditionally supported and loved by All-That-Is. You are so unconditionally loved and supported that you are allowed to feel not supported and not loved—that’s how loved you are.
Asker: But if I can go deeper—because usually I’m not aware that I’m feeling undeserving. I’m not usually because I’m not thinking myself all the time.
Bashar: When you have the feeling, you are then conscious of it. And when you are conscious of it, continuing to have the feeling is no longer a pattern, no longer a habit—it’s a choice. A habit is something you do that you don’t know you’re doing. When you know you’re doing it, the habit is gone and it becomes a choice if you repeat it. Make sense?
Asker: So like in real terms, let’s say if I’m feeling sort of stuck.
Bashar: Define stuck in a way that serves you.
Asker: I’m just trying to talk…
Bashar: Define stuck in a way that serves you. I just gave you an example. Many people on your planet define habit as something they just can’t help doing. I have told you a habit from our definition is something that you do that you don’t know you’re doing. And if you know you’re doing it, you don’t have the habit anymore. The recognition you have the habit is not the beginning of the process of getting rid of it—the recognition of having a habit is the end of the process.
So as I have now redefined habit, redefine the idea of feeling stuck. For example, feeling stuck is just my reality pointing me in an unexpected direction. I’ll follow it instead of banging my head against a brick wall. And if I just follow the unexpected direction, if I just become curious about what that unexpected direction is that I have now defined “stuck” to mean to me, I will no longer feel stuck—I’ll feel curious and excited to find out what that unexpected direction is.
To use the idea of what you typically on your planet call writer’s block: if you have writer’s block, write about having writer’s block, and you will no longer have writer’s block. Redefine the experience, use the experience in a positive way.
Stuck, stuck, stuck—stuck in the muck. Redefine the idea of what stuck in the muck might mean. Maybe it just simply means that your higher mind is telling you this would actually be a better way for you to go in terms of what you say you prefer, rather than what your physical mind is insisting on doing, which actually will allow you to fall into a hole. And I’m telling you there’s a way around it. So instead of feeling stuck because you are judging the experience and negatively defining it, define it in a positive way that serves you. Define stuck in a positive way instead of a negative way, and you will see how it serves you.
Because all circumstances can serve double duty. Remember, nothing has built-in meaning. The greatest gift you’ve been given is that life is meaningless. You give it the meaning you were created to give meaning to life—that’s your job as a co-creator. Give it meaning as you prefer to, and you will reap the effect of the meaning you gave it, because it has no meaning of its own.
Reality, Reflections & Co-Creation
Asker: There is no such thing as an accident—right? We’re creating our own reality, and so in our reality there’s really just ourselves and other people that exist.
Bashar: Yourself in your reality and your version of other people you have created in your reality to interact with. That’s it.
Asker: So are they…
Bashar: But you are all doing the same thing.
Asker: So everyone in my reality is just an aspect of me?
Bashar: Everyone exists, but everyone you experience in your reality was created by you to interact with as a reflection of you. So they exist in their own right, but the only ones you actually interact with in physical reality are the reflections you’ve created to experience in your reality. That’s why when you change your reality and you change your frequency, sometimes you may find that you no longer interact with certain people—they’re simply no longer in that reality.
Asker: Okay. What about people that you don’t really directly interact with—they’re just like strangers passing by?
Bashar: It’s all an orchestration, as you said. There are no accidents. Are they real or are they just like robots?
Asker: Let’s explain this again. It is all real, and it is all an illusion. It is not this or that—it is this and that. The idea is that you have created them by agreement in the consensus reality to have an orchestration that may be serving them maybe more than you understand how it needs to serve you. Nevertheless, you are still serving some purpose with everyone that you interact with.
But the way you interact with people is by creating your version of them in your reality so that you can see them—otherwise you wouldn’t be seeing them; they’d be invisible to you. They are interacting with you, you are interacting with them, but you’re interacting with them through a simulation that you’ve created in your reality.
Asker: When I’m having a direct interaction with someone, is that both of us agreeing to co-create?
Bashar: You cannot have an interaction without an agreement. Now again, there may be differences in what each is getting out of it, there may be different purposes to it, different degrees of what you need from it, different kinds of reflections. But it cannot happen without an actual co-creation. Because you have to agree to create your version of them in order to experience them in your reality at all, and they have to do the same to experience you to any degree at all.
That’s why people on your planet that you often call insane or crazy are not having any less real of an interaction—they’re just having an interaction with something that the consensus reality doesn’t agree is part of their reality.
