Letting It Go

The Slap: An Experiential Demonstration

Asker: I’d like to uh send surrender..

Bashar: Yes, you may. Thank you, Ellie. John, you asked if I could give you an example. It is not entirely truthful that I cannot. More I said that I would not because the only real way to give you an example, the only real way to allow you to experience what I’m talking about would be a little startling for both of you. Yes, it would be a shock to the personality.

Will you place yourself on the floor in front of the channel? John like a dog like a dog like a cat like any animal you wish but as yourself simply directly if you wish kneeling in front of the channel face to face all right allowing the channel’s hands to extend to each side of your face face up forward in full cognizance of what at least you best believe and say that you are. All right. Are you sure? All right. Take a deep breath and relax as best as you can. Are you relaxed? Head up. Is your spine straight? Is your head up and eyes forward? All right. Are you sure? All right. Now on the count of three, we will experience together what I am talking about. All right. All right. Take another deep breath and relax. All right. Now, do you know that we love you unconditionally?

Asker: Yes.

Bashar: Are you sure? All right. Thank you. One. One. All right. Did you hear the one?

Asker: Yes.

Bashar: All right. two. Are you all right?

Asker: Absolutely.

Bashar: Now, in that moment, what happened? What did you experience in that moment?

Asker: Um, I was in my body totally probably for the first time in a while. And what else simultaneously? Um,

Bashar: you’re in your body totally, but did you not simultaneously really just let go of every concept of who and what and where you were?

Asker: Yeah. And I knew you were going to do that.

Bashar: I know you knew. And that’s why it was all right to do it. But the idea is, and that’s not because that’s the only way, but that is the idea of the immediacy. The immediacy of what we are talking about and how it is that in that immediacy you can be completely grounded and be completely expanded because everything is suspended. Time, space, everything. But it’s suspended by the recognition that that’s who and what you are. Do you understand that?

Asker: Mhm.

Bashar: Does this help you at all?

Asker: It does. It does. Let it help you.

Bashar: Yeah, exactly. Let it help you. Now, you don’t have to slap yourself.

Asker: I do all the time, so it’s perfect to have you do it for me.

Bashar: All right. You may sit down if you wish. But the point is is that you can remember now from experience what that suspended moment was. And you can understand that that moment as you felt it is the only moment that there is. There is only one moment and that was it. And you experienced it. It may have seemed like a flicker like fleeting like an instantaneous moment but that’s it. That’s the moment. All of creation is in that moment. everything, the I am and you specifically as John, that moment, that experience is everything simultaneously. Does this make sense to you?

Asker: Absolutely.

Bashar: And we apologize if that hurt. All right, Ellie. I don’t think you want the same thing.

Asker: No, the ladies first.

Bashar: No, I what I wanted as an example was I know what you wanted as an example. But you see, he got the feeling of it.

Asker: Yes. On all levels, right?

Bashar: But I think now maybe you get the point a little bit more.

Asker: Yes. And that’s how it’s going to be.

Bashar: Yes. Is what you’re saying. Yes. Once we’ve surrendered. Yes. That’s how life is. It is going to be in a sense probably a little bit more metaphorical than what John just experienced like a slap in the face. It is going to bring you totally into the moment and you will understand that you are you you are the moment and in that moment as was said by this individual over here you will feel immediately here but you will simultaneously feel infinite humility and gratitude and humbleness for the I am and the All-That-Is. And simultaneously you will know and experience yourself as the I am and the All-That-Is. But please in all of that enjoy life because that’s what it is all about. Thank you for being willing to be such a bold illustration and demonstration for the others. you, as you say, you knew what was going to happen. It would be wise and a good suggestion for you to take it to heart that you do know more than you think and for you to use the same degree of certainty you experienced in this exchange in every area of your life because there is no reason for you not to if you want to. There is no reason for you not to if you want to. catch my drift? Thank you and our unconditional love and profound respect to you. May we continue now?

Asker: Well, you completed the u experience that I was going to ask for was simply can we just have an example or be in it? And you got it. I got it. And I didn’t even have to make the request. I was simply going to just sit and be with you.

Bashar: Yes. And express gratitude in this moment.

Asker: Yes. And I also would just like to reflect that I I was the slap. Yes. I felt the slap. Boy, did I sting.

Bashar: Yes. And I was the energy of it.

Asker: Yes. Simultaneously without having to be John.

Bashar: Yes. So, and yet you felt it because at that moment you were yourself and John. That’s the point.

Asker: Yes. And I think it’s really simple if we would stop complicating it.

Bashar: Yes. Yes. Yes. Yes. In many ways, that is why many of the Zen masters answer their pupils with that particular kind of response because that really does bring you back into focus. And there really is no other way in most cases that the pupil will be willing to hear it other than to experience it. And then you know, and it’s that simple. And that is the the quest of being in a form, I’m sure, is to experience as much as we can as this form.

Asker: Yes. And enjoy it.

Bashar: Yes. And know that we are much more than this simultaneously.

Asker: Yes. Okay. Does this help you?

Bashar: Very easy. Thank you. Thank you. You good day.

Asker: Hi, Bashar.

Bashar: Good day.

Asker: Good day. Now, everyone’s afraid we’re going to slap. I’m still shaking.

Bashar: Yes. Remember, oh my god, that you are all connected even neurologically and thus we knew that in many ways, in your own ways, you would all feel the slap if only through the shock.

Asker: Yeah, definitely. I didn’t expect that.

Bashar: Some of you did and some of you didn’t. Nevertheless, it vibrated and resonated in all of you in your own way.

Q&A Session: Creativity, Parallel Realities, and The Great Experiment

Asker: Yeah. Um, you know, this idea of surrender and I realized that I did connect that for a long time with the feeling of losing. Yes. Um, and I’ve noticed that I’m just going through different aspects of my personality. It at various times and then other times I flicker into I think what it is is surrender because I feel ecstasy. I feel total connection with myself. But but but I mean it’s but but but but well what I notice is that I seem to be focused on creating focused on creating.

Bashar: What do you mean by that?

Asker: Oh um I just get like I started creating a creek in my front yard. Yeah. And so and it just like all came together and suddenly I was immersed in this experience of creating this creek and having all these experiences with rocks and

Bashar: Well, if you are made in the image of the creator, what would you expect to happen when you are yourself?

Asker: Okay. So, you know, it’s almost like I feel like I’ve been experiencing a lot of this, but I didn’t have this label for it. And so, I’m a little unsure about what?

Bashar: Well, just that idea that when I’m in this, that’s what I like to do most. I like to create.

Asker: Yes, all of you do. And that’s in one way or another. And that’s what I spend most of my time doing. It’s what all of you spend all of your time doing, right? You’re creating this moment right now. There’s a certain kind of creation that is like so stimulating and so exciting.

Bashar: Yes. Well, that’s because you are the you you are. You are the aspect of the all that you are. And therefore, that’s your specific modality.

Asker: But so what? Right. So I’m I guess I must not be clear about something. Why do you think you are not clear? What is it you think you need to be clearer about? What feels like it’s missing?

Asker: Well, I guess you kept talking about this idea of surrender and I go into states of surrender and then there are times when I don’t.

Bashar: Yes, I know. So, what’s the point?

Asker: So, yeah. Is that just part of what you do or Well, it’s part of what you’re doing or do you That’s true. Or is it something where um you just are in this creative state all the time? creative process.

Bashar: Yeah. Well, that is a very interesting question because when you say creative state that’s one thing but when you say creative process that’s something else because if you make a process out of it then in some senses you can actually take yourself out of the state. If you are simply in the state then you will create whatever comes to you in that state. You may be able to recognize that you go through processes in the creations that you do. And the creative process, if you wish to use that term, may simply be a linear expression, an outpouring of what it is that you are impelled to do while you are in that state. But the idea is that they really are just really expressions of the same thing. And that is just being your natural self in whatever way, shape or form it feels natural to express it.

Asker: Yeah. It’s like integrating surrender with being expressing yourself physically.

Bashar: Well, in a sense, although again you are complicating the issue for yourself when you say you have to integrate surrender with being physical. Total surrender automatically encompasses physicality and allows you to understand where physicality fits within the act of surrender. You don’t have to make them integrate. If you feel like you have to make them integrate, then you are not surrendering.

Asker: Yeah. But that’s what I’m thinking that um I’ve experienced this sensation many many times but for years that’s been a big thought on my mind is how can I be in this state? Yes. And create do things physical. Talk to people on the phone. um you know do things because you are assuming that the act of surrender puts you into some kind of a mindless state that’s not the case again as we have said to John you are becoming more aware of all your aspects so a true act of surrender you will know it’s a true act of surrender when you find yourself more capable on all levels not less

Asker: all right so I feel it almost as if like the personalities change depending on the situation but that the act of creation is what it’s all about all the time. So in that sense the personality becomes a vehicle.

Bashar: Yes. To for expression.

Asker: Yes. But the knowingness of who I am Yes. is what I am. The rest is aspects of the personality that are serving to assist in creation.

Bashar: Yes. Was that difficult?

Asker: No, not at all. That’s what I’m doing.

Bashar: All right. Does that help you?

Asker: Yeah, that helps a lot. Thank you for You, you and you. Number two, do you know who you are?

Asker: Yes.

Bashar: Number three, do you know who you are? Number one, good day.

Asker: Good day. For sure. Um, what I’ve been doing is is going is breathing into that space when I remember to.

Bashar: All right. And is this I guess what I’m asking you is this a manipulation breathing into the space well breathing into the moment when I find myself scattered yes I can I can breathe and center myself yes with the breath and you are asking if this is a manipulation with what context on the word manipulation I guess false manipulation and why would you assume that it is because I I can stop all the thoughts in my head.

Bashar: Yes. And so I guess I’m asking you, am I doing it right?

Asker: Right. Do you feel like you are when you do that? When you get into that space, do you feel at peace?

Asker: Yes.

Bashar: Do you feel loved?

Asker: Yes.

Bashar: Do you feel humble?

Asker: Yes.

Bashar: Do you feel great?

Asker: Yes.

Bashar: Well, dumb question.

Asker: Well, you want one of these?

Bashar: No, I knew that one was coming. Yeah, I guess I used it. Yeah. Okay. But the idea really, if you just want to put it into your colloquial words, is simply more of a realization. It’s more of an epiphany, right? It’s just the idea that, oh, I get it. It’s just the light bulb turning on. It’s just the click. It’s just the revelation. It’s just clairvoyance, clear seeing. It’s just recognizing yourself and recognizing that you don’t have to work at being yourself because yourself is what you are. It’s just letting go. If it helps you to breathe into that, breathe into it. But you can just let go. Do you follow?

Asker: Yes. Of course, breathing into it and worrying that breathing into it as a manipulation is very far from letting go. Far from what it’s where it’s at, right?

Bashar: So, that’s true. And of course, remember it’s also right next to it. Very far and right next to it because everything is here, right? Depends on how you see it, how you choose to experience it. Does this help you?

Asker: Yeah, it does. Anything else?

Bashar: No, not for the moment. Thank you. Who’s next? What would you I knew you good day?

Asker: I had five questions, but four of them I felt were fear- based, so I decided to give up fear and I’ll just go with

Bashar: All right. Thank you. Congratulations. Thank you. Now, if you honestly feel like you must ask them, then ask them.

Asker: No, that’s okay. Thank you. Just checking. Just testing.

Bashar: Oh, I don’t go back into the fear. Some of you are very willing to accept it again. Wanted to see if you were willing to do that. All right. Thank you.

Asker: Um I have Well, let me give you my perception of like how things work and then you can clarify. Um what how things work. I I’m under the impression that everything already exists, including parallel lives, future lives, etc., etc.

Bashar: Yes. Are we getting into a this or that situation?

Asker: No, we’ll see. Okay. All right. You’re under the impression that everything already exists.

Bashar: Yes, that is correct.

Asker: Okay. So, when we progress from this stage, this step to the next step is how how infinite is it? Like is it how infinite? How infinite is it?

Bashar: Do you know, if I may digress a moment, one of the things we found the most fascinating about your civilization, was your ability to say those kinds of things. We were actually quite perplexed for quite a while before we understood the degree of separation and segregation that would make it possible for such a sentence to exist. How infinite is it? Well, here’s Is infinite not infinite?

Asker: Well, is infinite not infinite?

Bashar: It is.

Asker: Well, well, this that’s how infinite it is. But this just seems like a a a waste.

Bashar: A waste. If if for me, let’s say all possibilities for what I’m going to do right now already exists. which means every degree I could stick my hand, everything I could possibly say.

Asker: Yes. And each of those me exist as conscious as I am here now.

Bashar: Yes. That just Why is that a waste?

Asker: It just it seems like there’s a lot of um things that I could be doing that that

Bashar: Well, you are you’re doing them all. So, what’s being wasted? All the different possibilities are all being done. So, what’s being wasted?

Asker: Well, it just seems like some some of them aren’t very productive.

Bashar: Well, to you. But that’s a judgment call. Okay. Well, I’ll ask it to you this way. Do you like receiving presents?

Asker: Sure.

Bashar: Do you enjoy that entire experience of being given a present that is wrapped in pretty paper and bows and opening it up and being excited about what you will find within the box?

Asker: Absolutely.

Bashar: Well, isn’t the paper and the bow a waste of time?

Asker: Ah dh it’s just the ah from one perspective I suppose you could say well why all that paper why the bow why the box don’t just give it to me in fact why do I need you to give it to me why don’t I just get it myself

Bashar: yes that’s valid you could but it’s not the same experience is it a waste no it’s just a different experience just a different point of view. You understand the difference?

Asker: Yes.

Bashar: Does this help?

Asker: Yes. Just the second part to that was so a future self that I I do the same thing that they’re doing now. Uh do I actually become that future self?

Bashar: Yes.

Asker: Then what happens to me and I’d leave me behind?

Bashar: Well, no, not really. Yes or no. Remember this and that, not this or that.

Asker: Oh, okay. Okay. Does that help?

Bashar: Yes. You are the future self and you’re not. You leave yourself behind and you don’t.

Asker: Okay. Can we clarify that and say it’s a different frequency of knowing ourselves?

Bashar: You can say it’s a different frequency and if you believe that gives you clarity, bless you. But it’s just a way of making it work for you. It’s no more right or wrong than anything else. It’s just a point of view. Does that help?

Asker: Yes. Thank you. Thank you. Number three.

Asker: Hi, Bashar.

Bashar: Have a you good day.

Asker: Well, I got my slap in a different way from you in September. Oh, remember?

Bashar: Oh, yes, I remember. I remember. Great fun. Yep. Yes. Great fun. Um and I um I’ve really been um been having some great experiences even just today. and wife and killed. Flying as the eagle guys and not getting seeing the big picture. Big picture and not dipping down into the details and everything structure. All right. And letting everything flow through. Did you enjoy that experience?

Asker: Very much so. I thank you. And you know what it did is it just really clarified um for me more of who I am and strengthened it. That that was quite good. Do you know about um the great experiment?

Bashar: There are many great experiments.

Asker: Okay. There are many great experiments. Okay. There’s what are you referring?

Asker: I’m referring to uh we’re getting uh information. This one came from um Finehorn and I was talking or Finhorn. Yeah, I don’t know why I don’t want to say Fine Horn. Finhorn. Oh, by the way, when I was talking to uh Leona, we had lunch uh this week and I asked her if there was another place like you had suggested and she said originally, you know, the three people that uh they didn’t start out to do this community, but she said it was sort of the borderline of England and Scotland. Is that what you were referring to at at

Bashar: No, even further back than that.

Asker: Further back than that. Okay, then she wasn’t. Um, you’ll find it.

Asker: Oh, she wasn’t. I I’ve got some um I’m reading some books now and information on it. And um anyway, when we were talking, you may you may not find it in a book. You might, but you may not find it in a book. Have you any suggestions for where it might be found?

Bashar: Not yet.

Asker: Oh, okay. Yes, I do, but not yet. Oh, all right. That’s fine. Um, anyway, as we were Let’s play with that.

Bashar: Okay. Let’s stretch you, shall we?

Asker: Okay. All right. If you were Oh, I’ll just use your language to take a wild guess. Where might you feel? It goes back to don’t think

Bashar: your hesitation says you’re thinking.

Asker: Yeah, I don’t think. Don’t think. Remember the ego. Remember the big picture, right? Remember the feeling and the experience. Just allow the vibration in. Findhorn. Fhorn. What comes to you? Name a place, an area, a location.

Asker: Findhorn. I would say Atlantis.

Bashar: I would say Atlantis. That’s all came up. All right. Fin. In some senses, yes. But we are looking to see if you can use your ability to follow the tracing rather than just jump all the way back.

Asker: Ireland.

Bashar: No, you’re guessing that.

Asker: Okay. Then I don’t know. I really Nothing is coming up for me. Repeat. Scandinavia.

Bashar: Thank you. I’m a thin. Oh, okay. That would have never come up for me.

Asker: Yes, it would have. It would have. Yes.

Asker: Oh, okay. It was closer than you think. Oh, all right. But it didn’t come up.

Bashar: This give you the experience of understanding how easy it is to fall into your thoughts, right? Rather than just go into that feeling. But Atlantis is also correct.

Asker: Oh, okay.

Bashar: Because remember the areas in which it is taking place now are the remnants of the druids. which are Atlantean remnants.

Asker: Ah yes. Anyway, moving along. Moving along. Um she we were discussing as I was sharing with her some of my uh things I’m doing with the community and and uh having um a center and this type of thing.

And she said, you know, there are many many many people. She said, “I’ve got friends all over the world.” And she said, “We all have these different dreams and everything.” She said, “And I notice we all seem to be in very similar place.” Um, not a holding pattern, but just in a very similar place where it’s all getting very close to coming about.

And she said, “I’m wondering,” she said she had gotten information about this great experiment. And uh, she said she’d gotten it from all over the place. And the great experiment is to take place guys. Um let me tell you a little bit about because it’s rather quite exciting.

Um James Thyman uh author of Emissary of Light. He actually um he actually what he actually sang I’m I’m reading I’m looking for something here to refer to that. I’ve got in my hand.

Uh he said that um he was invited by the government of Iraq to perform his peace in Baghdad. He said the situation seemed uh that war seemed almost inevitable. This is, you know, a little while back. And diplomatic effort seemed to have failed. I was being used by the Iraqi government, he said. But we had the same goal to avoid this terrible war.

I was given permission to sing the prayer for peace to Saddam Hussein and I wanted the world to join us in this prayer. Hundreds of thousands of people over the world participated and when it was complete I felt a profound shift in the energy of that whole region. 3 days later a peace agreement was signed. Something which seemed impossible before the prayer began.

And then a week later in Ireland, the peace talks were being held for what you call your Irish and your English, right? And uh at a castle in Belfast, he said for days, bombs were exploding all around that area. Many people were trying to interrupt the peace process and it seemed like the talks might fall apart.

Once again, thousands around the world joined us in prayer and 3 days later there was a breakthrough in the talks. A peace agreement in May now seems inevitable.

Now we can go back to one of the first questions of the evening. What is now the percentage and likelihood of the idea of a nuclear terrorist strike in your United States? Used to be 97%. Now it’s 78.

Bashar: Well, this is going to take um it is the beginning of the understanding of the next, shall we say, chapter that we will talk about regarding surrender because this locks into an entirely new understanding of conflict resolution that we will call surrendering to peace. Okay? Okay. And we will discuss that next time. All right. Cuz this is taking place on April 23rd.

Bashar: Well, we will talk about it in the next transition. In the next transmission precedes that.

Asker: Okay. Great. Because they want everybody to join in on this.

Bashar: Yes. And I will have copies of this then.

Asker: All right. At the next meeting. Thank you. Okay. Thank you.

At this timing, we will once again extend to each and every one of you our deep uncondition and willingness to surrender to life with you.
